Putting you at ease and making you smile, all while snapping your photos all day.
Photographer& Wedding Day Storyteller.
I’m Nikki
I actually never thought I’d become a wedding photographer. The first wedding I ever shot was for some friends of a friend - because I wanted to be invited to the party. But afterward, I was hooked.
I took the money I earned and purchased more gear to photograph weddings, because I immediately knew that this was my path.
That was 15 years ago and I haven’t looked back.
“Nikki is so good at getting what she needs to get done. She’s one of the gang, she feels like a part of the family instantly.”

see if we vibe.
I mean it when I say I love
what I do! Documentation. Storytelling. Timeless portraits.
Picking up a camera when I was 20 was one of the best choices of my life. This led me to my Bachelor of Fine Art in Photography from UW Milwaukee.
I love love, and it’s an honor to keep capturing it for you.
I live in a mid-century modern house (designed by an architect who studied with Frank Lloyd Wright!) with my handsome man, Steve. It’s just down the road from Lake Michigan, in my hometown Manitowoc.
I’m into cooking soup on the weekly, and have exceptional knife skills.
It’s hard to believe, but Steve and I have been together for over 20 years!
I saw him at a house party and wrote my number on his hand. He dropped his beer on the floor and then waited a month to call me. We’ve been together ever since.
My sweetie. My world! My son! We welcomed our Ezze three years ago and time has never flown by so fast. He’s my why, and I just love him so much.
Sadly, I’ve lost both of my own wonderful parents, which still bums me out every day. Hug your parents, kiss your kids, and invest in photos that you’ll cherish forever.
The people in my life who love me, call me Nik. I like that.
I’ve been going to the gym nearly every day for over ten years - but I’m also not above a cheeseburger & shake night.
My favorite movie as a child was Days of Thunder. I always thought I’d make a great race car driver.
